The Duval County Democratic Party’s Singleton Hazouri Gala is our signature event, bringing together Democratic leaders, elected officials, major donors, and grassroots supports to honor the legacy of those who paved the way and to build momentum for the work ahead.

Named in honor of former Representative Mary Singleton and former Mayor Tommy Hazouri, the evening celebrates two trailblazers who left an indelible mark on Jacksonville. Representative Singleton made history as the first Black woman elected to Jacksonville’s City Council, while Mayor Hazouri helped shape the modern fabric of our city through decades of public service and leadership.
