It's time for First Coast Women Democrats to come together again on Tuesday, September 9, to welcome Jacksonville native Christina Swiridowsky. A Campaign powerhouse, Christina worked her way up the ranks of Organizing for America, President Obama’s re-election campaign, to become Deputy Regional Field Director. Since then, she has been recruited to work for two nonprofits: Enroll America and Planned Parenthood Southeast. But politics and Jacksonville are what she loves, and we are delighted she is back as the new, Executive Director of the Duval County Democratic Party. She takes the reins with the intent to strengthen Jacksonville’s Democrat goals and presence by increasing the party's efforts to get out the vote for our candidates in 2014 and beyond. Her new role in Duval Democrat politics is a testament to the fact that Jacksonville is poised for change. Join us to discuss, support and learn about her new position and what it means to us and to the state.
Unite our resources, invite your friends and encourage everyone to seek out Women Democrats of diverse backgrounds and interests to join us on September 9.
The conversation can't start without you!
