Join OneJax for a discussion with Adonnica Toler and Hope McMath about how art can connect our city. The event is free but tickets are required. Click here for tickets.
Throughout the month of April, OneVoice will be posting ways art intersects with issues of identity, social justice, and our community. We hope that you will join by answering the question "How can art connect our city?" in a Tweet or Instagram post. Get creative or look for examples such as:
- Public art transforming the look and feel of a space
- People interacting with public art
- Visual art (or any form of art) that makes you reflect on identity, community, or social justice issues
- Poetry or other forms of written word that reflects on identity, community, or social justice issues
- *BONUS POINTS* to anyone who makes creative videos!
OneJax is a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote diversity as the foundation for a strong community. We work to increase respect and improve relationships among people who represent the rich menagerie of religious, ethnic, racial and cultural groups that compose our community.
