Our goal: To Strengthen Democracy by Electing Democrats.
We recruit, inform, inspire, and enable Democrats to be politically knowledgeable and effective in dealing with local, state, and national issues of concern to Democrats. We have interesting speakers and programs and emphasize ‘doing something’ about our concerns.
Our members are active in letter writing, voter registration, get-out-the vote campaigns, and working hard for Democratic Candidates. We regularly hold forums on issues of concern to area residents and events for candidates seeking various offices.
The club meets at 7 p.m. the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Neptune Beach Activity Center, 2004 Forest Ave., Neptune Beach, 32266 (unless otherwise noted or on Election Days when the meeting place becomes a voting precinct.)
While our president, Joe Burt, convenes the meeting promptly at 7 p.m., most arrive at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy refreshments and networking before the meeting. Annual membership dues are $25 per person or $35 per family, but our meetings and events are open to all interested Democrats, members, and non-members, and you are warmly encouraged to attend. There is plenty of free parking.
For more information, visit BeachesDemocraticClub.org or our Facebook page, contact Joe Burt by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call (703) 628-1891. Or, check the Calendar of Events to see scheduled speakers and programs.
